The Hunted Dialogue Sample #2

SCENE: ANGELA, a young woman in pursuit of the fleeing William, has been picked up by an unsuspecting HICK, who now demands payment for his "services."

INT. TRUCK – NIGHT

The Hick turns to Angela with a look of shear lust.

ANGELA
(Trying to brush him off)
Well, thank you for the ride.

Angela moves to open the passenger side door.

HICK

Pushes a button on the driver’s side door which electronically locks both doors of the cab.

ANGELA

Quickly whirls her head around to stare at the man, who places his hand on her arm.

HICK
Not so fast, little fillie. There’s still the matter of your, uh… fair.

ANGELA
Fair?

HICK
Yeah, you see this here’s a taxi service. So naturally there’s a payment to be made.

ANGELA
I don’t have much money…

HICK
It ain’t money I want.

ANGELA
What is it you want then?

HICK
Come on now, honey. Didn’t you see the bumper sticker? “Gas, grass or ass. Nobody rides for free.”

ANGELA
(Growing Impatient)
I’m afraid I don’t have any… “grass” either.

HICK
Well, then. Guess that leaves only one other option, then. Doesn’t it?

Angela turns away, seemingly with revulsion. The Hick smiles a nearly toothless smile. Angela slowly turns her head back to him.

ANGELA
(Smiling seductively)
Yes. Of course.

Angela moves seductively closer to the hick.

EXT. TRUCK – NIGHT

The truck is seen slightly from above. At first, several PLEASURABLE MOANS on the part of Angela and the Hick can be heard coming from inside the cab. Then, at the peak of ecstasy, the Hick’s BLOOD-CURDLING SCREAM is heard.
